On October 29, staff from Jefferson Community College, the Victims Assistance Center, Lewis County Opportunities, and St. Lawrence Valley Renewal House joined together to Take A Stand against domestic violence. Participating agencies collaborated in presenting the Beating Hearts: Stories of Domestic Violence art exhibit. In addition, a remembrance vigil was held in honor of those who have suffered abuse or been killed by an intimate partner.
